1. Trend Congestion:
A trend congestion occurs when the price of an asset oscillates within a narrow range after a period of strong trend movement. This can be viewed as a period of indecision or a consolidation before a potential breakout and change in trend.
2. Entrance Levels:
This is the point where the price begins to move into the congested area. The price may start to lose momentum and show signs of weakness in the previous trend before entering the congestion.
3. Congested Price Action:
The period of price fluctuation within the narrow range is known as congestion action. During this period, the price may move sideways, forming a pattern of alternating highs and lows, indicating that the market is unsure about the next direction.
4. Exit Levels:
The point where the price breaks out of the congestion area is known as the congestion exit. This may indicate a confirmation of a potential trend reversal. A breakout above the resistance level or below the support level of the congestion area can signal the start of a new trend.
5. Trend Reversals:
A trend reversal occurs when the price of an asset begins to move in the opposite direction of its previous trend. It can be either an upward rally (after a downtrend) or a downward correction (after an uptrend). Traders use various indicators and patterns to identify potential trend reversals, such as support and resistance levels, trendlines, and technical indicators
