2025 Stress Test Results


June 27, 2025

Federal Reserve Board's annual bank stress test showed that large banks are well positioned to weather a severe recession, while staying above minimum capital requirements and continuing to lend to households and businesses.


Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and 20 big banks passed an annual Federal Reserve stress test on Friday. Many of these lenders are expected to share their capital plans, which includes shareholder dividends, as soon as Tuesday afternoon.
